This is a 20 Ton Articulated Crane and is often refered to as a knuckle boom or cargo crane. The benefits of using an Articulated Crane are countless. They weigh less than telescoping cranes and take up less space. They are often fitted close to the cab of the truck for greater cargo space like the one shown in the photo above. It is extremely flexible and can lift large capacities with great ease and super transportability. These cranes are able to reach over an obstacle to get the best position for the job.
